WeatherBug is a weather forecast application featuring local radar, severe weather condition alerts, and live maps for the daily convenience of users. Developed by Weather Bug, the app ranks 6th in the ranking list of weather applications on the App Store and has so far received 4.8 stars out of 5 from 1.8 million users worldwide. Free of charge, the app also provides users with paid services by allowing users to make in-app purchases if they want more additional features. The app is rather easy to use on a daily life basis and notifies you of storm warnings and pollution levels. The forecasts are real-time and can be extended up to 10 days. WeatherBug contains altogether 18 maps, varying from lightning, wind, pressure, and humidity, to temperature. It aims to offer you the most accurate and timely weather report. The interactive map enables you to check the weather in a more visualized way and the lifestyle forecasts will help you to arrange your trips and plan your schedules in a more prepared fashion, making you aware of the possibility of allergies and chronic pain. You can personalize the alerts and display the weather widget directly on your home screen. The weather radar is currently available in Europe, Mexico, the US, and Canada. But, according to the feedback of some users, WeatherBug tends to lock up users' screens and won’t let you open the screen at ease. You have to answer the questions from the app before you can really unlock the phone. Also, some alerts are not that necessary, only telling you that some roads will be wet, which is totally a waste of time and attention. 

Updates

On January 19th, 2023, version 5.53 was launched with additional enhancements being made. During this update, the section of All Stations can be seen on the card of Observation. Within the Stations section, a detailed comparison of all the variables was made possible. In its most recent update on February 15th, 2023, version 5.54 was launched and the color of the Alert Tray icon can be changed based on the type and severity of the alerts. New filters were added to distinguish between professional and personal stations and distinguish stations by distance.
